Students Evaluated For Injuries After Overturned School Bus Crash In Maryland (Updated)

Several students reportedly suffered minor injuries when a school bus overturned in Howard County on Thursday afternoon.

A bus full of students were evaluated for injuries on Feb. 8 when the bus crashed and landed on its side in the 7300 block of Old Columbia Road in Columbia.

Two boys and two girls between the ages of 11 and 14 were taken to the hospital for a checkup. The 30-year-old driver is uninjured.

According to the Howard County Police Department, any injuries preliminarily were considered non-life-threatening. It is unclear what caused the school bus to crash as it was heading from Hammond Middle School in Laurel.
